The main suspect, wearing green t-shirt  bringing police to his house to look for his clothes he wore the day of the killing. Police found the clothings but not the murder weapon.

As police investigate further into the Bank manager's  murder, they unearthed a plot allegedly planned by his 31-year-old wife and her male friend, a car salesman aged 26.

It was allegedly revealed that the the four suspects were hired to killed the victim. The four had been monitoring the movement of Stephen Wong for a while. They were allegedly paid over RM35000 to kill him and over RM25,000 to maim him.

It was alleged that the assassins had intended to kill him at a supermarket but was not successful as there were too many  people around.

They then decided to carry out the killing in his house to make it looked like a robbery.  The main suspect from  Deshon Road who is also a Rela member was alleged to climb over the fence to kill the victim.

Wong was stabbed to death in his bedroom in his house at Jalan Ulu Sg. Merah  on June 14 while his wife called a relative to tell an uncle that an intruder had killed her husband at about 1.30 am.

The salesman was arrested last Friday while the wife of Stephen Wong was arrested a day later. Yesterday police arrested four more suspects.

Wong and his wife had a son aged 3. The couple's marriage is on the rock.
