Police believed its murder

Police believed that they have some clues into the murder of bank manager - Stephen Wong 31, who was killed  on Thursday morning. 

Acting KPD, DSP Deli Beng they have found some evidences at the scene and would intensify the investigation to get to the bottom of things.

He said police found five stab wounds and other wounds on Wong. He was stabbed on his face, neck and back. 

Deli was explaining to SUPP leaders, Dato' Sri Wong Soon Koh and Datuk Tiong Thai King who went to the Sibu Police station to express their concern on the murder.

Stating that they had also found blood stains finger prints at the back of the house wall, Deli said the suspect had escaped through the back and there was no forced entry into the house.

He said police initially thought it was a robbery but the circumstances of the evidences pointed otherwise.

His distraught wife and three year old son were not hurt by the assailant. 

Wong, according to police, had earlier on entertained his seniors from Sabah and gone home at about 11 pm.

He took a bath and then went to sleep. His wife was awaken by sounds from her husband and saw a shadowed person running out of the room.

This is the fourth murder case in Sibu this year.
